Gilda and Glenda the Guardian Grannies

Guardian Grannie Doll

Pattern makes two different size Grannies. Granny Gilda is 5" tall and Granny Glenda is 8" tall. The pattern contains detailed written step-by-step instructions accompanied by detailed illustrations.

Full directions are given for constructing and sewing the quilted wired wing, the beaded wire Granny Wand, her Tiara and wire eye glasses. There are very detailed directions for sewing a 3 part head, needle sculpting and coloring a whimsical face and creating a real mohair hair-do.

Each pattern comes in its own plastic bag. All of my patterns are written with very detailed step-by-step instructions which are supported by detailed diagrams and illustrations. Pattern pieces are full size. Full color photograph and detailed supply list is included. Included are directions for using a felting needle to create marvelous hair dos with bits of colorful mohair and novelty fibers.

Grannie With Beads is a variation on the original pattern

Patriotic Grannie is a variation of the original pattern. She holds an American Flag (not pictured) and is 14" tall X 9" wide --- her flag is 4" x 6".  I created my Patriotic Guardian Granny doll as a donation to be auctioned off on Lisa Risler’s website www.lisasheaven.com  The auction was organized by her to raise funds for a New York City Fire House engaged in rescue operations on September 11th at the World Trade Center.

Survivor Grannie was created to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness.
